News Rowdy Robots
28 April 2009

Rotherham Family Learning, in partnership with Extended Services, visited Blackburn Primary to present Rowdy Robots.

Key Stage 1 children were given the opportunity to work alongside Dads, Grandads, Uncles and older brothers to engage in a positive and fun experience.  They used motors and batteries to build various mechanisms to create moving, flashing, noisy and extremely colourful Robots.

At the end of the session the children lined up ready to race their Robots to Dads, Grandads etc.  The adults proved to be considerably more competitive when racing the Robots back to the children.
