We had a superb sports day.  The weather was just perfect and the children competed brilliantly.  The effort and sportsmanship, shown by the children, was a credit to parents and the school.

Many thanks to Mr. Roddison for organising the event, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Wagstaff for keeping the score so well and our refreshment ladies, Mrs. Burley and Mrs. Robinson, who slaved away over a hot urn.  Thanks to all, too many to mention, who worked on the field making sure the events went smoothly and the children were well supervised.  Special thanks to Mr. Wareham for ensuring all the chairs and safety fencing were in place.

1st Raleigh 175 points

2nd York 155 points

3rd Britannia 150 points

4th Galahad 120 points

The winning team were presented with the Wilmot Dixon trophy.
