Part of our school vision is that every child is a reader. This means we want our children to be skilled and accomplished readers but also have a passion for reading.
At Blackburn Primary School we have a bespoke reading approach tailored to our children. Our approach is research informed so that our children get the very best early reading experience and become confident fluid readers who enjoy exploring books and written text.
